Competition Terms and Conditions

 

  1. The Promoter of this competition is Pixel Toys of Regent Square House, Regent Street, Leamington Spa, CV32 4NS.
  2. The title of the competition is Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade AR Competition.
  3. Entry is free to all eligible users of Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade who satisfy the requirements detailed below. No purchase necessary. Entrants should be aware the AR Photo Mode used in this competition requires an AR compatible iOS device running iOS 11 and the latest version of Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade.
  4. The competition will run from 00:00 on 12th October 2017 until 23:59 on the 16th November 2017. Any entries received by the Promoter after this point will not be considered.
  5. The competition is open to users of Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade across the world except:
    1. residents in Germany, India, Canada or Australia;
    2. employees or trade accounts of Games Workshop, Fankicks or the Promoter, or their families or agents; or
    3. any other person connected with the administration of the competition.
  6. All entrants must be over 13 years of age.
  7. To enter the competition, entrants must have a valid Facebook or Twitter account and share an image of their in-game Knight publicly (on Twitter or Facebook), including the hashtag ‘#Freeblade’.
  8. Multiple entries are permitted. The Promoter and Games Workshop accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason.
  9. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  10. All entries will be reviewed by the “Panel of Judgment”, composed jointly from members of the Promoter and Games Workshop and shall include one independent judge. The Panel of Judgment shall select the top 3 entries which best satisfy the judging criteria.
  11. The judging criteria shall be as follows: the Knight image that best makes use of the AR photo mode in the game Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, without using recognisable landmark locations or people’s faces (unless they provide full legal consent to the entrant prior to posting the AR photo on social media).
  12. Any AR photos submitted for the competition that break the social media platform’s terms and conditions in any way will be reported as such to the full extent available.
  13. The decisions of the Panel of Judgment shall be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received and each entrant’s ability to provide the winning criteria. Winner(s) will be notified by private message through their means of entry (via Facebook or Twitter) and announced on to general public on social media and websites belonging to the Promoter and Games Workshop.
  14. Winner(s) will receive either;
    1. a physical Imperial Knight model professionally painted in the official Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade Warhammer 40,000 30th Anniversary livery shown in the promotional artwork in-game; or
    2. get to choose the size and style (from available options on Fankicks.com) of a pair of Warhammer 40,000 Fankicks.
  15. Prizes will be dispatched by UPS tracked delivery once they have been claimed by the winner. Winners should allow for 60 days for delivery of the prize.
  16. No cash alternative prizes will be offered, prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability.
  17. The prize is supplied by Games Workshop and the Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  18. Winner(s) must claim their prize within two months from the announcement of the competition winner. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, then the opportunity to win the prize will be lost and the competition will be finished.
  19. By claiming a prize, winners agree that Games Workshop, Fankicks and the Promoter can use their name, likeness and place of residence (in the format of ‘Rob W of Nottingham, UK’) for advertising and promotional purposes and for the purposes of fulfilling legal obligations. Details of the winner(s) may be published on social media belonging to the Promoter, Fankicks and Games Workshop as well as the websites www.pixeltoys.com and www.games-workshop.com fankicks.com and in Games Workshop’ email newsletter.
  20. By entering the competition, you are confirming that the submission is your own work, and you agree to allow Games Workshop, Fankicks and the Promoter to display any image you submit. You accept that Games Workshop, Fankicks or the Promoter may alter the visual appearance of the images before they are displayed online. The painted model and Fankicks will be photographed by Games Workshop and the Promoter prior to being sent to the winner(s). The user consents to these pictures being used in-perpetuity by said parties for any advertising or marketing purposes whatsoever, in whatever form or format, and the visual appearance of the images may be altered before being displayed.
  21. By making a submission, you agree that the copyright holder of the images consents to Games Workshop and the Promoter using the imagery and that the image does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights. All images remain the property of the copyright holder.
  22. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
  23. Games Workshop or the Promoter reserve the right to vary any of these Terms and Conditions without notice. In such event Games Workshop or the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to communicate any change with entrants.
  24. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
  25. Any personal data provided to us in connection with this competition will be held and processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. We may also use that data for administration of, and communication in connection with, this competition. By submitting your personal information in connection with this competition you consent to the processing of your personal data as set out above and you confirm that the information is accurate and complete. Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the Competition or occurring to the winner(s) arising from his or her acceptance of the Prize.
  26. These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute relating to the promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Any personal data provided to us in connection with this competition will be held and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may also use that data for administration of, and communication in connection with, this competition. By submitting your personal information in connection with this competition you consent to the processing of your personal data as set out above and you confirm that the information is accurate and complete.
